Heritage Week Touch Tank Event at Lough Hyne - Rescheduled - Sat 27th August
Heritage Week Touch Tank event at Lough Hyne Marine Nature Reserve - Sat 27th August 11.30am - 1.30pm
The annual Heritage Week Touch Tank event run by the School of BEES UCC Lough Hyne research team has been rescheduled to happen this coming Saturday 27th August from 11.30am to 1.30pm on the north shore car park at Lough Hyne Marine Reserve between Skibbereen and Baltimore in West Cork. This is a chance to see and hold some of the marine life usually hidden beneath the waves and learn about their biology. Not to be missed! All welcome.‌
In addition, members of the UCC Deep Maps Project run jointly between the Schools of BEES and English will be on hand to get people’s thoughts on the current status of the marine environment and to gather stories and anecdotes of how our marine and coastal areas have changed in their lifetime.
