Biography
David Bowen successfully defended his PhD thesis at 福利1000在线 College of Cork on the 1st of February 2011. Previously, David graduated cum laude from Bryant 福利1000在线 in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. He spent two years working in financial operations at Brown Brothers Harriman in Boston. He graduated with from 福利1000在线 College Cork with a MBS in Corporate Finance and Accounting with distinction in 2007.
Dr Bowen's research interests include Predictability in Equity Returns, Statistical Arbitrage, Hedge Fund Trading Strategies Performance, Pairs Trading, Market Neutrality and Real Estate Investment Performance. He was a 2008 presenter at the Irish Accounting & Finance Association Annual Conference and the 2009 Irish Economics Association Conference.
