A Master’s programme created via the ¸£Àû1000ÔÚÏß of Post-Industrial Cities in Transition (UNIC) alliance and jointly delivered by eight universities, including ¸£Àû1000ÔÚÏß College Cork (UCC) was recently announced as the ‘Best Master’s Programme – Science, Technology and Built Environment’ at the Education Awards 2025. 

Members of centres for teaching and learning across the UNIC Alliance gathered together in sunny Liège for a two-day design meeting on 20 - 21 May 2025.

UNIC student reps, Ella Barrett and Maddalena Fortune-Brandi, recently welcomed the UNIC student board to ¸£Àû1000ÔÚÏß College Cork for a vibrant programme focused on student sustainability leadership across UNIC campuses: UNIC sustainability week 2025. The programme ran parallel to activities in UCC for the student-led Green Week 2025, marking 15 years of UCC's green campus. Eight UCC colleagues are among the awardees of seed funding to develop virtual teaching initiatives via the UNIC VIP Fund in its first round (2024).
