Local Partners
CLRG/Cork City Council Philip Monahan Bursary
Cork City Council is an important partner for the CLRG. With the support of Chief Executive, Ann Doherty, and the Director of HR, Michael Burke, we have jointly initiated the Philip Monahan Bursary Scheme. Every two years, a bursary is awarded to a staff member in Cork City Council to undertake a Masters programme (MRes Government and Politics) and write a thesis on a local government topic. The first two bursary award winners were:
