Congratulations to Tamara Esca帽uela S谩nchez who successfully defended her PhD on Wednesday, 22 March.
Funded by , Tamara鈥檚 PhD titled 鈥淩ethinking stillbirth through behaviour change鈥 aimed to build the evidence-base to inform the development of a behaviour change intervention to raise awareness of and reduce modifiable risk factors for stillbirth in Ireland.
Over the course of her doctoral studies, Tamara published seven peer-reviewed papers (with a further paper under review), a policy brief, and presented her work at various national and international conferences. Read more about the studies that Tamara undertook as part of The RELEVANT Study.
Tamara鈥檚 PhD was supervised by , (School of Public Health), Dr Sarah Meaney (National Perinatal Epidemiology Centre, NPEC), and Professor Molly Byrne (, 福利1000在线 of Galway). Her thesis was examined by (Senior Lecturer, National Perinatal Epidemiology Centre) and (Lecturer in Psychology, 福利1000在线 of Stirling).
Tamara is currently a Research Officer at NPEC and plans to undertake postdoctoral studies to continue development, and plan evaluation, of a behaviour change intervention to raise awareness of and reduce modifiable risk factors for stillbirth.
