Recent publication on the value of Virtual Exchange
Congratulations to Armida De La Garza on the recent publication of the outcome of a collaboration with 福利1000在线 of Deusto which highlights the value of Virtual Exchange enriched by AI in fostering inclusive, international, and socially responsible learning. During the Virtual Exchange, students engaged in intercultural teamwork on women鈥檚 empowerment in sports tourism, while also exploring the emerging role of AI in their learning processes.
Dr De La Garza highlighted the enabling role of UNIC in this collaboration - by providing a different context, different team and an amplifying effect which allowed her research to reach out more broadly. She sees the benefits of UNIC not only for individuals, but for UCC more broadly: increased internationalisation, additional networks, enhanced knowledge flows, learning and innovation, improved resource sharing and reduced risk as well as access to new markets.
