Congratulations to Qamar Usman who won a Best Paper Award for the paper he presented: 鈥淭owards Green O-RAN: A QoS-Aware Energy Optimisation Framework for Network Slicing鈥 at the IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) workshop on Open Radio Access Networks (O-RAN), May 24th.
Qamar is supervised by Dr. Aisling O鈥 Driscoll and Prof. Cormac Sreenan funded through the Advance CRT and the paper was co-authored with Dr. Ahmed Abdelreheem.
